Staff Bios

Adam Griesemer - Assistant Instructor

Born in Pennsylvania, Adam was raised in Pottstown. As a child he traveled to Jamaica where he fell in love with the ocean. He graduated from Susquehanna University with a B.S. in environmental science. Although landlocked, he developed a background in marine field techniques through study abroad programs in the Turks and Caico islands and Colombia.

Adam first came to Hawaii in 2001 and was employed as a National Marine Fisheries Service Observer. Working for deep ecology gives Adam the opportunity to promote Marine Conservation and Diver Awareness to the global community.
