Stuart Pannell - PADI & SDI Dive Instructor

Stuart Pannell was born a premature baby on the East Coast. Doctors predicted he would always have problems with his lungs, but that proved to be untrue as he came to love anything having to do with the ocean. Stu moved to Oahu at a young age. Being in the Ocean was everything. He was certified at the age of 15, which he says is something to do when there was no surf. Stu pursued scuba diving right after High School as an alternative to attending a university.

After hundreds of hours diving and gaining experience with various Captains and other Divers, Stu came to love diving even more. Stu enjoys and cherishes his experiences with Deep Ecology, which include turtle rescues and ghost net recoveries. Stu says he is truly amazed with Deep Ecologys ethics as well as their foremost concern: the welfare of the environment and especially marine life.
